Two Very Handsome Japanese Woodblocks: Tiger and Monkey Both Beautifully Presented. Two very handsome woodblocks in black ink with only a hint of pink for the tiger's snout and tongue. Both are incredibly appealing, the tiger licking his paw, the money sitting on a rock while grasping onto a branch. Tiger is 15½ x 6" and framed to 23 x 13" and the monkey 12 x 7½" and framed to 19½ x 14½" with both matted and framed to match. Estimated Value $100 - UP

King Silk Sushu Embroidery Silk Art Landcape From Their Masterworks Collection: The Moon Gate. Sushu is a traditional folk art originated in China with a history spanning 2500 years. In 2004 King's Silk Embroidery opened in Kitchener, Ontario Canada, the founder himself whose family had its roots in Suzhou, China, one of the most famous Chinese cities known for its silk and expanding his company into quite the family affair. Offered is one of the company's silk art landscapes from their masterworks collection entitled "The Moon Gate". Six to seventeen layers of silk of 4/16 strands of silk are used to create this work taking anywhere from three to five months boasting lovely colors of steel, navy, grey, green, pink, umber and taupe threads. Handsomely framed to 25 x 25" and in excellent condition. Estimated Value $100 - UP
